First, I LOVE your layout! The colors, the painted circles, the paper layers- it is all just PERFECT!
Second, I want to send you big hugs and tell you, from the perspective of someone who is living it right now, you can do it! My husband is also back in school for his last degree (he is in medical school getting his FOURTH degree! I've told him this is the last degree with this wife!). Up until July I was working as a software engineer in a job that paid really well, but that I had really started to hate going to. I had also been fostering a small business on the side and getting zero sleep...and having no time for anything. So we made the huge decision for me to go self-employed, and it has been the best thing ever. I have way less money now, but I also find that I spend less because I'm not just buying random stuff out of stress. I am also 100x happier now that I don't have to go to the office. At all. Ever.
Anyway, I am rambling. And we don't have kids, so the situations are entirely different in that regard. But I am totally rooting for you, and if you need to talk, please feel free to send me a message.
@scrappyjedi Thank you! I know that this is for the best right now - he should (SHOULD) have much better prospects once he finishes this one (he is going for a PhD - he is a linguist, not much out there for that) which means I will be more free to pursue what I would love without stress or fear. Honestly, if it were just the two of us I would so just jump right now - but it is not. I am doing MORE of what I love -and at least moving in that direction - but the little is only 3 and so school is not free just yet - time. . . I do have a prospect for a change in the next month though - keeping fingers crossed on that one!
