My goofball, my monkey, my Doodle, my Asia Rae. I love you, your smile, your tenacity, your creativeness, and your silly personality, all of you. Thank God for parks, you are my little ball of energy, my extrovert. I freely admit those are completely the opposite of me, and I usually have no idea how to handle it. Even when you are driving me made out of my mind with your monkeying around on the furniture, being completely obstinate and brimming with bold sass. Of all my children, you are definitely the one who challenges my patience the most, but that is not entirely a bad thing. You are most definitely comfortable with who you are, steady on your own two feet at just 6 years old. I hope that doesn\'t change much as you grow older. You\'ll need your tenacity, your ingenuity, your sass and spitfire, and self-confidence to carve your niche in this wide world. This winter has been hell on you. You long to run, to play and explore the great outdoors. I could not entertain you for the life of me. You longed for fresh air. Thank god the weather has changed and we can finally be outside and play. Today was the perfect day for that. The first real warm day of spring. All that energy inside you could finally escape in the sunshine. You could scream your lungs out, laugh and run. And most of all dig till your heart’s content. Thank god for parks, I don\'t know how much long you could hold off before you exploded.
