Hates White Foods

another pinterest find! so will he eat like red/purple onion but not white? My DD is the exact opposite of your son, she's all about plain rice, potato and puts aioli, philly cream cheese or sourcream on anything, will sometimes eat boiled eggwhite but not the yolk and is the plainest of plain jane picky eaters (i would trade you in a heart beat but i fear you'd be getting the short end of the stick if we swapped kids and i couldn't do that to you!).
As someone that eats greek yoghurt every morning (or at least 5d/wk really), it does taste better with berries and oats or muesli or something rather than straight up (and it varies in acidity and that face turning inside out astringency too i've found by accident, it's a real balancing act) but i'm with him on the mayo and sourcream personally, or any cream really (apart from icecream, unfortunately i love that!). @bellbird Ha ha! Yeah, he is a weirdo for sure. Usually kids love white sauces, like ranch or cream cheese, but he just doesn't. Not sure if he'd eat red/purple onions or not, I usually only use the white and yellow ones. The funny thing is that he LOVES rice and bread which are also white... so I debated on making the page about white food he won't eat and adding in about the white foods he loves, but decided to just stick to the ones he randomly won't eat.

the funny thing is onion is onion to me, but DD won't eat purple/red onion if she knows it's in something, white-ish onions she's fine with, but in pasta sauce or mexican it's so hard to see so i may just 'forget' which onion to use sometimes - yes, i'm a terrible mother - which reminds me i have to go figure out what's for dinner, again. DD was telling me earlier about some game uni students play with Chat GPT giving it random fridge/pantry items they have on hand and asking for recipes that they can make, and as disgusting as the recipe sounds, they have to cook and eat that (there was some 'oat-crusted, pickled onions and cherries from a jar' quiche recipe she was telling me about that sounded gross - it did sound colourful though so maybe wyatt would be interested!)
