Harry Cleveland Geesey was my Great Grandfather. He was born on the 8th of December in 1888. He is on the right in the photo above that must have been taken around 1906. The photo on the right was taken in the mid 1960s. He lived to be 88 years old and I remember him fairly well -- though I was scared of him even though he used to give my sister and me tootsie rolls from his corner store and butchers shop that he ran for most of his life. He was orphaned early in life and made his own way in the world, becoming a successful business man in York PA.
