I love this photo of Nana Hazel and I. She was such a special lady throughout my life. In April 2016 she passed away and I was so grateful to be able to be with her during her final few days. I will always remember her smile, her capacity to love those around her and her overwhelming generosity. I remember the way she saved all year to buy Christmas presents for her family and friends. The way she knitted for any baby in her sphere. She will always be a model of what I wish to be. She was rewarded in this life not by riches and wealth but by the love of those around her. Nothing was ever too much for anyone who knew her. She was a remarkable lady and I miss her so much.
