I check the "Friends of the Library" shelf on the way to the book return and that's not what is currently available. Sometimes we even have a red rolling cart of "please just take it" and I came home with quite a few favorites for the kiddo that way.

The mini me doesn't like when we give him gator nuggets because they take FOREVER to chew but everyone always wants to give them to him, especially when he was a baby. There's a restaurant in the middle of Big Cypress Preserve (its existence pre-dates the preserve) called Joanie's Blue Crab and they make really tender ones with buttermilk and a secret seasoning blend that he almost liked.
