What a beautiful egret! Lucky you to get that photo!!! I live in the northwest US where we have great blue herons. They look like they're related not too distantly. I used to spend time watching a heron from my office window. He would fish in the pond between the buildings regularly in the afternoons. I can disclose my leisure time that now that I haven't worked there for many years, lolol

Great photo capture of the bird. I like that the touches of orange in the page reflect the colour of the beak. The drop cap for the challenge is well done too with the choice of font.
