Journaling: Grandma Elizabeth was born on Dec. 7,1898 in Neusatz, Russia on the Crimean Peninsula by the Black Sea. She came to the United States on Dec. 22, 1912 when she was 13 with her parents and 6 siblings. Grandpa Edward was born in Niobrar (Knox County) Nebraska Nov. 14, 1897. He passed away May 1, 1982. I grew up about 3 miles from their home SE of Plevna, Montana and loved staying with them. We were together at the Plevna German Congregational Church each Sunday. My Mother Irene was their oldest child and I was their first Grandchild.
