Anyone who scraps abt semicolons and other punctuation is my new BFF!!! LOVE THIS!
P.S. A semicolon serves the same function as a period. It's used to connect two separate sentences with a similar subject/theme e.g. 'I promised the kids I'd buy them ice cream; they only had chocolate at the store.'

I want to form a new genre of art journalors that make pages full of hysterical funny things, angst is found something to giggle about, no brooding over darkness, just pure fun!! love love love the grammar police!! from the woman who is forever ending sentences with prepositions.
This is great. I was laughing out loud when I read it. The semi-colon is one punctuation mark I very seldom use. I love the police car element. thanks for playing along.
