It has been almost 30 years and yet it seems just like yesterday that you were reminding me how much you loved me, dearest brother. I still love you little brother and miss you so much, even after 30 years. Some day we will be re-united in heaven. What a glorious day that will be.
Laurel was in Sturgis on Memorial Day weekend and stopped by your grave. She left the flowers and took this picture.

My brother got cancer at age 23 and passed at age 26. I was 28. His photo was taken a few months before the cancer was discovered. He married his sweetheart and she created the "husband" grave stone.
This is such a touching page ... I'm sorry for your loss - I understand through my own experience that the years march on, but the stab of sadness remains. Sending you hugs!
Oh Bev ... I am so sorry for your painful loss ... I can't even imagine. This is such a beautiful tribute to your brother. I love that his wife took that photo and you could include along with the photo of him - the opposite page with you two as kids is beautiful and the perfect companion. gentle hugs.
