Gather-Hedge-Apples

When I moved to Kansas to be with my daughter and grandsons, I became smitten with the Hedge Apples in the fall. They are this delightful pop of bright green in the midst of all the gorgeous warmer tones of the season and I can\'t get enough of them, probably because we didn\'t have them in Nebraska! The deer love them and they say that a bowl of them in your home will keep the spiders away. The boys love them, because they are great for chucking in the pond, lol!
