@Eyeore Thanks!! Stefanie, my mother would never go over the speed limit.. she was always at least one or two under... we went through the crossing area, and the crossing guard came out after our car went through, so she was so perplexed when the police car was behind us having us pull over.. she said to me what did I do?! She was shaking so bad. I was digging in the glove box for the registration as she was in her wallet to get her license. I spot out of the corner of my eye her handing the officer her Disney pass. (Back then it looked exactly like drivers licenses with photo etc.) All I could do was do a psst... Mom that is your Disney pass, when she started laughing and handed the registration and her correct license to the officer. I guess he knew he pulled her over in error and was hysterical over her giving him her Disney pass, that he let her go with no ticket. We were on our way to meet my Dad for lunch.. boy did we have a great laugh over lunch! For years, after Mom's passing (she had passed 2 years after that incident, 32 years ago tomorrow) and we still giggled over that funny moment!
This is great, Christa! SO funny, although I'm sure it wasn't at the time. This totally sounds like something I'd do. I love the way you told this story!!
@Cherylndesigns thanks Cheryl. Mom was 52 when that happened. She never did anything wrong so that was such a jolt and upset for her and I was laughing .. (I was 27 at the time visiting them in Fl!) too funny
