We spent the day at the Onalaska Omi-center pool. At first you were not too into going along with us to celebrate your sister’s 7th birthday. After all who wants to spend an afternoon at the pool with their embarrassing mom, step-father and siblings? But after mom laid her foot down and demanded you go, you ended up coming along. The first good half an hour you sat and pouted that there was no one your age to play with and that it was too boring. You sat on the side and didn’t want to go in the water. But after the day heated up and the pool became more full of guests; you took the plunge and joined us in the pool and GASP!.. you actually had fun! By the end of the day you were thanking mom for “dragging” you along. It ended up being a fun summer afternoon after all! See. Mom is always right!
