I miss having a dog but my husband never wants another dog. he didn't want a dog to begin with and fell in love with Topaz. He was heartbroken when she died. That is not Topaz in the photo. I want a menagerie. I'm going to talk him into adopting another cat as soon as the shelter gets over the ringworm.

@Karen Thank you, Topaz had a really good life and for a big dog, loved to be 13 and half! She was spoiled, loved and pampered. Her bed was an orthopedic one, the size of a crib mattress. She was a good girl. Maybe someday I can change my husband's mind. Or get another hedgehog.

@cfile Thank you, she had a really good life and lived to be 13 and half! George Washington was her baby. I miss George more than you could know. He had A+ personality. Thank goodness for Fred and Ginger! I cried while watching this: Facebook

@HeatherB Thank you, you know it never gets easier as time passes but the love is the best part! She was well loved! Now, I love to meet dogs out and about. I met a mini Australian Shepard named Jet the other day and goodness, I fell in love so hard. Husband said no.
