- This is one of Thomas' favorite foods, but I'd never made it myself. I'm proud of myself, not just for learning to make it, but for learning from my father-in-law, speaking only in Danish and in his kitchen. Thomas wasn't even in the room to help. For someone with social anxiety, it's a pretty big deal. My medication helps a lot but I still need to make myself actually do these things. I did it and I did great.
