So sweet! Those were the days. We couldn't imagine how much things like this would change. Love that Oma was the first to receive a letter - treasured I am sure.
oh Brigitt, how sweet!!! I am so glad you captured that moment I loved writing to my Grandmother, even though she only lived 30 minutes away from us and we would see them every week. When I got older and she moved to live with my Uncle and family in Florida, I would write her as well, and still have those letters. When i glance at them and see her handwriting, I get such a smile... she is with me again as I read them. I hope you/she saved those letters she got back from her granny. Now a days, everything is email and text messaging ... not too many physical letters and that will all be gone soon. This is a precious layout.
