I miss teaching youth/kids at church and my women’s group. So for today, this is my pulpit. In the thick mess of the Civil War, one of President Lincoln’s advisors said he was grateful that God was on the side of the Union. Lincoln replied, “sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side. My greatest concern is to be on God’s side for God is always right.” Like many people, I have struggled during this election year watching both sides rise up in passion, both convinced they are right. Being on God’s side means we will reflect His heart to those around us in the way we interact. We choose to forgive, treat others justly & seek pure unadulterated peace. God’s ways are always right. That's what I’m going with.
