April 2018 - Photography Challenge Before & After

Journaling - We finally decided to go ahead and convert the fireplace to gas. We needed to do something since Ben started walking and to keep the cat and smoke smell out too Even after two cleanings, we could smell it because the original owner never cleaned the fireplace. Our first major project turned out pretty well. Cost more than we planned but looks great. Finished: Oct. 2016

Love your C&S design, Amanda. Your background paper is gorgeous! When we built our first house in 1997, we had a gas fireplace and LOVED it. There's nothing like pressing a button to have an instant fire. Our current house is supposed to have gas, but it doesn't work, so woodburning it is. One of these days we'll fix it. You've inspired me. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge!
