I asked my granddaughter, Ava, to take some pictures for me to use for this challenge. I'm in love with the pictures she sent me! They have had 3 generations of Mourning Doves living in their nest above one of their French doors going out to their pool. Yesterday, Ava was blessed to capture the doves in the act of showing their love for each other. We think that the nest will soon be filled with eggs again. (If you look closely at the bottom picture, the dove on the left actually has it's eye closed.) SO sweet.

@Electra You don't know what your comments mean to me. I've worked on this for so long off and on all day. I wanted to get it just right. I wanted these photographs to be THE STARS!! My granddaughter came through me with flying colors on this shoot!!
@cherylindesigns and it's minus 20 outside here and I will be gosh-darned if I am going to go down to the rink and watch people play hockey. They are about the only ones moving right now.
@Electra Yikes!!! How do you even breathe outside? It never got that cold in Michigan and sometimes it felt like our nose hairs were frozen. Do you wear face masks?????
@cherylindesigns sometimes our eyelashes freeze together but that doesn't happen until about minus 35. No facemasks, but we do bundle up. They don't even cancel school until it is colder than minus 42. How come there is no brrrrr emoji? I will still sit outside tonight and watch the stars before I go to bed.Let's be clear, I didn't say I liked it.
