It's actually a much bigger deal here than in the US as we can't get a driver's licence until 18. So most kids have finished school or are near the end. As we lived overseas and changed hemispheres he ended up doing 18 months of one school year, so he is the oldest in his Year level. He turned 18 a week before school started and got his licence two days after his birthday! But, he still mostly rides his bike! Just not the first two days or unless he's running late! (Hence the bike crossed off!)
