Journaling Reads:
I have recently inherited several large bags of photos, certificates, old school reports and various other bits of family history. Mom hung on to them for the longest time, and now the baton has been passed to me. So much history, so many photos and, most importantly, so many stories. Sadly, I am too young to remember many of the people in the photo’s, and the stories they tell. As heart sore as this makes me, it serves as a reminder of why telling our stories is so very important. And while I will treasure each one of these photo’s, I just wish that the people were still here to share their stories with me.
Wow, love the ribbon laid over the top for the dimension and feeling of continuity that it lends to the design. I appreciate the nudge to write on the back of photos and to scrapbook for the family members that come after me.
Your page is so creative! Love the photos laid out and photographed the way they are! The placement of the "family" word art is perfect and the addition of the ribbon sets your page off!! Beautifully created!! Thanks for playing along with the inspiration challenge during MOC5!
