@tracymonica we transferred the movies by setting up our video camcorder .. we played the movies he filmed them and then we used the VHS recorder to transfer over to digital... we did this over 6 years ago... we had burned out the bulb on our movie projector and had to order it on line and had to wait for the bulb, then we went through 3 old VHS recorders/players and had to go and buy a new one just to transfer things.. My hubby does editing etc. with Adobe Premier, so he made a DVD of my family home movies etc set to music and by the decades and then I have all the raw footage too in mp3 files on my EHD. It took a while. I scanned the slides while he did the movies and then we put them all together I run the mp3s of the raw movies on my laptop and do screen captures that way. I know that was a long answer. Hugs
Christa love your long answer Awesome project and so rewarding! I scanned a bunch of my Dad's slides years ago and my signifigant other has his own media transfer business. I have learned so much about media transfer from him so I am always curious about the process
