Since we were in the States on Christmas, New Year’s in Niva was like a second Christmas. We finally got to exchange gifts with our Danish family. One of the gifts was for Dagmar: an hourglass-shaped rattle. It came in a display box and was held in place with satin ribbons. A small tag told us that the Tolo Baby Magic Shaker was an award-winning design that would help our baby develop dexterity, hearing, and color recognition. It is defintely the most highfalutin baby toy I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure it was worth all the pomp and circumstance, but you did enjoy it.
