Description
For this weeks Hodge Podge challenge -The Letter F
Journaling:
Every few months I get this insane idea in my
head. Lets take a family portrait! Its been
so long since the last one! Well, it doesnt take me long into the process
to remember why its been so long since the last one. It all starts with
me BEGGING and pleading with all three of my guys to put on
something decent. That alone is half the battle. Then its trying to find
the perfect time during the day when both boys are in good moods. Not
to far from their last meal and not too close to nap time. Well, forget
it. There is no perfect time, so I just pick one. We get settled on the
couch after spending 10 minutes explaining to the children that if they
just smile for the camera for five minutes I will give them their weight
in gummie bears when we are done. So we begin and within 30 seconds
whatever little bit of optimism that I had that this would work flies
out the window. If Tristan is smiling then Conner is having a fit. If
Conner is sitting still then Tristan is making a funny face. I cant win.
And before long I give up. We never did get a good picture this day.
Out of 50 shots we didnt get a single one that was usable. Oh well, chalk
it up to temporary insanity on my part. But in a few months my
selective memory will kick in and we will try this all again. Who knows
we might actually get a good family photo. Like, when the kids are 20.

Thanks for looking!
I love pages with outtakes! And I can completely relate to your journaling. Getting my guys to take photos can sometimes take a LOT of work. Love how you scrapped about it!
