I wonder what happened to Dolly's dress, she had five kids (2 girls), but they all moved to various parts of the country. She commented to me once that she had hoped that when she grew old, at least one of her kids live around her. But that never happened. I never was even notified when she passed away, I just stumbled on her obituary when I hadn't heard from her in a year or so.

@mcurtt Yes, I still have the vest. My maternal grandmother was from the Czestochowa area of Poland & she brought that with her to the US. I used to wear the vest along with the rest of the traditional clothing as a gypsy for my Halloween costume when I was a kid. Now the vest stays wrapped in tissue paper in a cedar chest because some of the beading is insecure. It is one of my greatest family treasures.
