Description:
On January 1st, we visited a nearby state park for the annual "First Day Hike." It was chilly, but oh so fun. We didn't get back to this park until the first Friday in July. This was our first real adventure beyond our neighborhood with the kids in months (aside from a stay at a nearby hotel for a few days in May when we had home renovation work done - another story to be scrapped :) ). It's crazy to think how much life has changed in the 6 months between our visits.
