journaling:
One year ago today we met the boys and brought them home
I have never felt such real fear to the point of vomiting and shaking uncontrollable. This was the toughest thing we have done as a couple and as a family. Adopting 3 boys, raw and hurting was tough but we made it through the year.
This page was made thru tears this evening, as soon as I saw
Little Butterfly Wings Wonders of MOtherhood
I knew this page would be born
The flair of the woman thinking, the hand next to her face, brought the emotions of a year ago bubbling to the surface.
I delight in being able to scrap these emotions, and thank the ladies here at the lily pad for their talent.
I also used the papers and additional word art that come with Little Butterfly's creation
Kim Jensen's Damaged Goods
CD's Circle Werx
Lynn-Maries Misty Alphas and BoHo Bliss
Sara Gleasons NectarVol one{paint}
and
Paislee Press Cards no. 24
and ViVa Artistry skin to skin handprints
F = FABULOUS!! Another knock out page Anne! You did a wonderful thing on that day! I know that it was a difficult time for you and your family but you have made it through and done an awesome job! xoxo
I am impressed on the choice you made, the job you are doing, and the fact you have found time with all that to scrap about it too! I am in awe! You go girl!
Such an expressive page, Anne. I love everything going on to reflect the turmoil, contrasted with the final thought of "glorious" in the corner. Beautifully done!
Where do I even begin? I am such a fan of your work Anne, and this layout is no exception. You have captured your emotions and the journey of this past year so well. I love the painty background and all the element details, and the wonderful flow towards the positive "glorious" in the corner. Thank you for what you have done for those three boys. You truly are amazing.
seee.....this is why I don't like coming to youyr gallery rushed up by time...becxause your pages are to be taken in, to feel them, to enjoy every pixel and learn with your journaling....and you get me the way I consider a good aetist gets people...in the heart and the soul, something that goes deeper than any word I can give it....
In most cases I cry with you, I laugh or smile, and in all cases it gets me on this anger of not having much money to be able to jump on an airplane and get to give you a super hugg, be there to help and sit and have coffees or teas and, well, you know, the friendship thing.
You are one of the most iomportant people in my scrapping life, and I am proud of knowing you, until we get to give a proper in the flesh hugg, here are a milion of virtual ones....
Thanks for being the woman you are, and being in life
this is an awesome page in every aspect.
Love YOU!!!!!!!!!
Huggggzzz
