English Paper Piecing

Description
For the Feb Photography challenge to take a photo of something we love - one of the small things in our lives.
This also a bit of an experiment for me into using wordart, it's not something I use much, and I've got 3 pieces on this page.

Love love what the text and leaf circles do here. And your 'quilt block' triangles are a great touch. (neat needle case!)

Ohhh this is so pretty, Angela!! I absolutely adore your little thing and that circle text is fantastic! I also love the word art you added to the photo! That banner is such a great touch!! Thanks so much for playing along!!

Hummm, I always called it tea folding, but any way you call it, it is so much fun to do!! I love the circled word art with the leaves. Fabulous page!!!

@NancyP we call folding pieces of paper to make motifs and ornaments tea folding. Folding fabric round shapes then stitching them together is what we call English Paper Piecing - it's our traditional form of patchworking.
