Journaling:
1. The Entry way...well half of it.
2. Carousel horse in Counted X-stitch done by her Mother-in-law
and lovingly mounted and framed by her Father-in-law.
3. A companion piece hangs on the other side of the entry.
4. I'll have her add a photo of it.
5. Sidelight. It has a twin on the other side of the door.
6. A scaled down Carousel horse.
7. It was designed, hand-carved, and painted by her
Father-in-law.
8. It's one of their treasures.
I am in love with that carousel horse. Father in Law is very talented. Love the cross stitch framed pictures, and the way you have documented this. The little chevron arrows do a great job of guiding the eye to your photos. Love that you have used a mix of fonts for your journaling as well.
LOVE that horse!!!!!! I used to love the carousels when little and my daughter had an obsession with them , even now, she looks for places that have one (difficult here in London these days) when they organize parties in fun fairs with her friends (she is almost 21!!!) I'm so glad that you found the way to make a page that has so much meaning to you!!!!!!particularly love that piece of journaling in the ripped notebook piece!!!!!
Thanks so much for playing with us!!!!!
