Journaling:
The ordinary moments of the past continue to show themselves as extraordinary, treasured memories. These memories are triggered by the simple everyday world we continue to journey through as a family. The triggers are the sights, sounds and conversations which occur daily. Whether it be the finches gathering on the bird feeder, the dandelions growing in the yard, a cute kitty on a TV, Sarah wanting to wear something of yours, or Garrett wanting to sleep with some of your favorite stuffed animals, we are reminded both of the sorrow of losing you but slowly the joy that these things brought to you fill our minds and our hearts' pain lessens. These things and the memories they trigger remind us that although you aren't here to hold that you continue to surround us. You continue to embrace our family in your arms and love and we have the simply job of not forgetting the blessing we have and embracing the memories we have of life with you.
