One of the funny stories from our Italy trip, for my daughter's album.
Journaling:
It became the comical refrain of our trip: “Ees not possible.” It started on the train from Florence to Rome. We struggled to find the right one, getting on two different trains before we found the right track and train number. The photo at the top shows our triumph in finding the right train. The photo at right shows our defeat after we boarded to find our seats taken; we called for the conductor, who was dealing with a stolen laptop. By the time we secured his attention and discovered that our tickets were, indeed, for this train BUT FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY, the train was underway. When we asked if we could simply transfer the ticket and use it on that day, he answered, ”Ees not possible.” He told us that we would need to buy new tickets for that day at about 100 euro each (three times what we paid initially), but we "couldn't stay on this train." I suggested we just get off at the next stop and find a place to stay in whatever little town it was-- an adventure!-- but we soon realized that there was no next stop before Rome. We rode between train cars, on the steps, but ultimately we made it to Rome on the faulty tickets. We concluded he’d just been trying to put a little cash into his own pocket.

Love the grungy look of your page with the word art and journaling although the topic of your journaling must have been quite scary! I'm glad you can laugh about it now but I am sure you didn't feel like that at the time!
