Mary Kate, this is beautiful!!! What a treasured photo of your family!!! I remember in the 1960's I still wore the Easter Bonnet... (had the matching purse shoes and gloves too)... not sure when that style trend went away, but the photo you have of your relatives wearing their Easter finest with bonnets to boot, is perfect... the wonderful soft Easter pastel colors with your papers and elements are perfect here and it truly is one of those vintage Heritage pages. I absolutely love this!!! The banner is a sweet touch too... Love your vintage & heritage page!!! Thank you for playing along with Paula's LOD day and you will also be entered in to Paula's special drawing!!

Oh, Mary, I absolutely adore this Eater collection! I can't stop looking at your layout because it is, not only beautiful but also so joyful! And the photo from 1944 is priceless! Could you share more about this picture?
Thank you for playing along to celebrate my LOD Day!Good luck!!!

Thank you, @cfile and @paula kesselring!

Paula, I really enjoyed creating this page with your beautiful Little Bunny collection. The vintage vibe, the pastel colours, the sticker of a little girl wearing an Easter bonnet...perfect for my 1944 Easter pic! This is a photo of my mother with her five siblings. My mother was the youngest, she's the little girl (Catherine Frances) to the far right, at age 4 and a half. They lived in a small town in Ontario, Canada, about an hour from Ottawa. My grandmother prided herself on setting a nice table, and I think you can see that here, with the cloth (probably Irish linen) tablecloth and the floral centrepiece. They would have attended Easter Sunday Mass in the morning (the family were devout Catholics), before sitting down to a midday Easter dinner (they always had their main meal at midday, not in the evening).

Christa, though I can't recall having an Easter bonnet, I still remember going to church in my 'Sunday best,' with a fancy frock and matching purse, shoes, and gloves! Eyelet-trimmed socks with patent leather shoes...
