@Angela Toucan, thank you. I needed the tag as a way to remind myself in the future that remembering my father on his birthday could be "ridiculously" merry. I'm sure he would be pleased. It will also remind me that with persistence I can create beauty and merriment no matter what life throws me.
@StefanieS, thank you. I literally groaned when the first paper instruction led me to "Autumn Leaves" since I knew this wasn't going to be easy or as quick. Of course, I thought about giving up or pretending that I was following the instructions. I'm so glad I didn't do that. I learned both a scrapbooking and a life lesson as I participated in the DYD festivities for the first time. Being honest in scrapbooking generally pays off.
