I want to chase history. I want to go the The mansion House where the first sitting of the An Chéad Dáil took place in 1919. I want to go to Dublin Castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks and Príosún Chill Mhaighneann. I want to chase my culture. Visit St James' Gate, eat in a Dublin pub, visit The Jameson Distillery and anywhere we have time or money to get to that involves traditional crafting. I would love to go in March and experience St Patrick's Day in Dublin. However, August would be ok too, the Feast of Our Lady of Knock and a pilgrimage to Mayo would be amazing. I think I need to plan a rather long trip.
