Using: Don't Harsh My Mellow Papers and Elements by Amy Wolff
Journal says:
They say to let sleeping dogs lie, but that’s hard to do when they lie right in the path of people walking. In the Malamute group I’m in, there are ridiculous amounts of photos of them in the weirdest sleeping positions. It seems to be a genetic trait that is passed on. Most of the long time owners say it is a sign of your Malamute being content and happy.
Some of the positions I find Fury in make you wonder if he’s even comfortable. One time he was at the top of the stairs with his head hanging off the top stair. Most times he’s under our bed and I don’t even know how he fits. This time he was at the bottom of the basement stairs right in the path we need to walk. Like seriously, how can I let a sleeping dog lie when I can’t even walk around my house without tripping over him?
But he’s happy. He just moves and goes right back to finish his snooze. Can’t harsh his mellow ever. I wish I could be that mellow even half of the time.
Such is the life of a spoiled pooch I suppose. - Sept. 12, 2016
oh how adorable! Love the photo and I think all dogs or animals will sleep on their back if they are comfortable and feel safe and secure. It is a vulnerable position... your pup is so cute and how funny sleeping at the bottom of the stairs or under the bed! Love the borders and love the turquoise pentagon edged label with the turquoise flower elements to balance the page. Great journaling!!
