I love that with our craft we can capture these parts of our lives that are so meaningful to us, but can often be so integrated that we don't take time to document them. This is so precious! Love it!
The book means a lot to me too, my DH was known as Eeyore at work before I met him, and then they renamed him Tigger, because he became very different, I took an Eeyore stuffy to carry my thistles and roses on the wedding day, and protect my hand. And when we moved into our first home we lived just a mile from Pooh stick bridge, a real place where they have proper pooh stick competitions every March. Haven't thought about it for many years, and of course never scrapped about it... @scrapchyck may be right, maybe it's time I scrapped it too Thanks for the inspiring page that brought my memories flooding in.
Oh, I loved these books growing up. You are right, AA Milne has so many wonderful quotes about friendship and life. So fun that you can share them with your granddaughter. Love the way you've used the papers and those little branches frame the book cover nicely.
@scrapchyck I agree. I get so caught up in documenting what is happening in our lives at the moment that I forget to do pages like this - the ones that really define who we are at our core.
