Journaling:
It was all you wanted for Christmas ...a vintage typewriter so you could experience the thrill of writing your books and poetry on something other than the computer. It took a little work, but thanks to Sarah, we found the perfect model. Dad cleaned it up and polished it for you, and found some ribbon online at Amazon. I'll never forget the confused look on your face when you opened the box with the ribbon cartridges in it..you had no idea what you were looking at. But once you realized what it was for, you were all smiles. You took it to the table and started plunking away. You asked Orlando what you should write. Even his, "I literally don't care" didn't dampen your enthusiasm.
so great that you captured the expression when she opened the ribbons - i love seeing it! i found a vintage typewriter in jan of 2017 and i love it! so fun! what a great gift for a writer! your mood board is so beautiful and dreamy and i love how the page turned out! the whole vintage mood is lovely!
I love how your scrapbooking page is led by your mood board, from desaturating the photos to give them a more vintage feel, the use of the typewriter key font, the repeating circular design, the colour scheme, the lines spraying out from the photos, reminiscent of the pleats in the ladies skirt, the type of flowers in the floral clusters to the water colour textural backing paper reminiscent of the wall the bike is leaning upon. #MOC6-3 #moodboard #multiplephotos
