Good on you, dear Olga, for being a different mother than the way your mother chose to be with you. I am sure that your girls benefit from your love and support, and that you are doing the right thing. Powerful journaling - thank you for sharing!
The journaling on this is really powerful and heartfelt. Often the difficulties we experience in life shape us into the people we become. I so admire your courage to "break the cycle" and do things differently with your girls, and to forgive your Mother. Love the way you have kept the focus on the journaling with the "praise" tucked into the envelope, with a few small elements.
I thought I had commented i this but obviously not.....I have spoken to you a bit about this today...you are an amazing woman and I'm loving getting to know you more...

Oh Olga, what a layout. It is very hard to feel this growing up and then putting this all in writing years later reliving it all over... big hugs my dear. You are a wonderful woman and your girls are reflective of all the love and praise you have given them. Thank you for sharing your story. This is a wonderful layout and I love the way the papers here are defining the bad times and then the good. Your strength love and praise of your girls comes through on every page!! tfs...
