Digi Dare 349 - Keepsake Ornament

...and this one is not a Hallmark!!! This is an heirloom silver ball Christmas Ornament that belonged to my Great Grandfather. Growing up it was the last ornament we always put on the tree. I decorated yesterday and was filled with memories of this tradition as well as the tinsel that my Dad always wanted us to save from year to year (I mean 25 cents a box and we had to save it?? LOL) now it is a funny memory and I put one piece of tinsel on the tree for that memory. I also added some other vintage ornaments from our tree growing up but this family ornament will always be the most precious. My nephew is 5th generation and will inherit it one day so he can pass it on through the lineage. TFL
