Digi Dare #327

This slide of my Grandmother is from about 1963 as the Kitchen wall paper in the background, I KNOW my
parents removed when I was 2 or 3 years old! Makes the slide around 50 years old! Grandma passed away
in 1980, but her words of wisdom/advice I still find myself repeating after all these years!

the photo of your grandmother is a treasure to behold,
beautifully blended into the damask wallpaper background,
and the lil' house wall hanging, I can almost see it in her house,
the font you chose is perfect for the journaling, it's a lovely page,
and a wonderful interpretation of the "advice" theme,

What a wonderful memory! I only have a few photo of my grandparents so I know how precious those photos are.

what a treasure, Christa :) I feel the same about my grandmas, bioth of them gave me love & wisdom, I miss them but they live with me in my heart...love the blending, the photo si amazing, and how amazing about the wall paper... :)

Stunning page Christa and what a great story about your grandma. I LOVE that photo by the way, it may be the colours or how you masked it, maybe it is her hair I don't know but to me she has something regal in that picture. Maybe it's the shadow in the background that makes me think of Queen Elisabeth's post stamps. Whatever it is I truly love it and I think it is beautiful and the same goes for your page design. Oh and that font is just PERFECT!
