This is for the Art Journaling October Week 1 Muse. This was HARD, but I'm really pleased with the challenge. Not only did I complete a layout, but now I'm not freaked out by DdlMuerte anymore!

The colored butterflies represent the living, the white our beloved dead.

Love this! I never heard of Dia de Los Muertos until I moved to the states. I do love the meaning behind it, such detail to celebrating and welcoming our ancestors.
