Demolition Zone

Description
Are you hopping along with the iNSD Blog Hop? Make sure you start HERE in the forum and make your way around to all the participating designer blogs to pick up the pieces to "Messy."

CREDITS: TLP's iNSD 2026 Collab Messy (Creative Retreat's gold paper, Joyce Paul's background, string, speech bubble and word strip, Just Jaimee's confetti, Lynn Grieveson's thread, twine, word strip, and word art, Kim Jensen's alpha, ninigoesdigi's frame); Studio Flergs' Into the Twilight (broken glass); Fonts-The Dry Ribbon by Heather Joyce and stoned wash 6.

JOURNALING: Back in 2020, before the Covid restrictions, Cam and some work buddies took a stress break at Demolition Zone, a “rage room” out on Franklin Blvd where customers geared up to smash the living daylights out of electronics, glassware, plates, and all manner of unwanted items like VHS tapes and clay pigeons...all for a fee, of course. The business was operated by a former Royal colleague of mine, Helen Urban, and her husband Jeremy and was a big hit with folks looking to unleash a little angst in a controlled space. Demolition Zone closed in 2023. I guess we ran out of rage. Cam reminds me of Vault Boy from Fallout with that pose!
Fantastic Layout using the Messy Blog Hop. Can't wait to play around with the kit. Your busted up background is the best. Love it!

My grandson and his friends did this for his birthday. They LOVED it! I love your colour choices and the excitement you have created with the confetti & broken glass. Perfection!!

I love the diagonal flow, yes, I see Vault Boy there too! What an amazingly cool page and great way to get out your anger and rage. Such a shame it closed, I think we all need a little bit of this now. There are Fall Out sodas at Costco right now. I just bought the Sarsaparilla for my son.

I mean, could the broken glass BE more perfect? This is so so messy and so so delightful!

(I *am* hearing this in Chandler Bing's voice, you know!) Thanks! I remembered, kind of last minute, that I knew I had some sort of broken glass element. I thought it was a brush, but couldn't find it. So, I just searched my stash with keywords 'til I found something. It turned out just like I hoped! Woo hoo!

Oh my gosh! This is SO fantastic! What a perfect pairing of those papers with the broken glass and this memory you've captured! Our local axe throwing place has a rage room too and I think it would be really fun to go in there and just break things! Lol! Congrats on the GSO too... well deserved!

Thanks, Karen! I'm afraid if I went to one of those places, I'd run out of money, because I have 63 years of things to vent about! LOL
