Delta

In the middle of September of 2014, I embarked on the adventure of a lifetime when I accepted a new position at Delta Airlines as a ticket counter clerk. While I loved my job at the airport gift shop that I had been working at for the past year and a half, it was time for a change, better benefits and more pay. I loved what Delta had to offer and was very excited to be called in as a candidate for employment and when I was hired on the spot I could not control my excitement. The job seemed too good to be true!
Not only does it offer medical, something I had needed desperately from my past job, but also it offers flight benefits across the globe for its employees! And trust me I have a list a mile long of places in the world I want to see and people I want to visit.
After two weeks of extreme computer based training, and almost going crossed eyed; I am finally complete with my online training. I am currently badged with the airport with my uniforms ordered awaiting the ok from head station to start my on floor training. I am so blessed and lucky to be working in a small airport with such a wonderful and kind team behind me. I cannot wait to continue on this employment journey with Delta and see where my dreams take me.
