Wow, your journaling resonated with me. I always thought that back then, couples got married so quickly because it was expected of them and they didn't date long enough but living together every day is tough stuff. My folks got along for the most part but after my dad's death, my mom wasn't very kind. Your mom was a gorgeous bride and I'm heartbroken over the despise of the beautiful dress. This page is lovely and heartbreaking and I'm glad you got those emotions out!
Such poignant journaling and what a beautiful page. You'd never know from the photos what turmoil was to come, and that is a life lesson. We just don't know what people are going through. Thanks for sharing.
