Ha ha! That's so funny that you were scrapping the same thing I was doing to miss your fun chat. I LOVE the tiny little square papers that you've used on this and congrats to your daughter for getting her L's! Do those go on the car she will be driving with for awhile? I wish they did that here. My son just gets in my car and sometimes he's going too slow or waits a bit too long to leave a light or something and people can be SO rude and honky! I want to have something on the outside of the car to let people know he's just learning... give him a break!
@Karen I know, I thought it was too funny with our parallel living & scrapping! And yes, they have to be displayed on the front & back of the car by law here whenever she's in the driver seat & L-plater's have speed restrictions etc so yep the idea is to let other drivers know. It's bizarre to me not all other places have them AND that your son isn't 16 yet and logging hours b/c you have to be 16at least here to sit the theory test before you can even physically sit in the drivers seat & then 17y.o to be eligible for P plates (there's 2 levels of that & they're displayed on the car for years after L's) And all this is normal to me & I only realised it wasn't normal everywhere thru random chatting here - TLP has taught me so much, not just about scrapping!
