My journaling is my stream of consciousness regarding my dad's decline in health recently. The realization that I have to step up and become a caregiver to him (& my mom), when for so long now those roles have been reversed.
I typed it right into PS, so I couldn't really read it as I went along. I am sure there are typos and plenty of run on sentences, but it was helpful just to get some of those thoughts out in the open.
I took an art journaling class a long time ago..and this was one of the exercises, just to write and write until the instructor said stop...it was so good for my just being. I can't even imagine this role you have been put into..but think you are stronger than you believe.
Thanks @AnneofAlamo! That's exactly what I did, just kept typing until I filled the page. These journaling challenges this month have been so good for me. I definitely won't avoid journaling in the future. It's probably the most important element of memory keeping!
