thanks @cfile i saaw yours and wanted that 'fold line' real book look too and clipped a gradient black to clear to the individual sides - didnt think of dodge and burn - was thinking about trying to 'stitch' the red cover peeking out so it looks more like @lcpereyra 's real album (which is awesome!) but it was late and i couldn't think of stitches that would suit the rounded corners off the top of my head
