text:
Dear future self,
As you age, remember these things. Between the ages of 20 and 30, this is what you aspired to remember and be like, later on in life:
Do not judge or make assumptions about the situations of others. We generally don’t know the half of anything, and our assumptions are usually mistaken and not supportive, or worse yet, sinful and hurtful.

"be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry" James 1:19

Recall, from Proverbs, what a good friend is:
“There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” & “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” Be thankful for your good friends. And be one back.

Remember how much you loved hearing the thoughts, advice, &
experiences of older women, in church life & Bible Study. Be involved with younger ladies. They need and want you. Titus 2:3-5

Remember Proverbs 12:18
“Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”

Read and Pray Daily. You know it doesn’t help when you don’t,
but instead that it always helps when you do. And thinking that you don’t have time for it shows what you idolize instead, and is always proven wrong - you’ve never run out of time after reading.

"make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and work with your hands" 1 Thes 4:11

No matter what ‘stage’ you’re in, there are difficult stresses and challenges, and there is busyness. Don’t compare one stage to another, looking for what’s an easier or harder time. Just work, daily, on the stage you’re in, trying your best, with God’s help.

And support others in the stages they’re in, without comparison to your own stage. As well, therefore, don’t use the phrase ‘it’s just a stage’ flippantly. If it’s a stage, it’s still real. And it’s hard.
And if it happens not to be a stage, but becomes a longer term part of life, that phrase can become a detestable few words to hear, and quite disheartening.

I really like how you made all the different pieces of advice separated visually as well. It's a very thoughtful and contemplative layout, in design as well as content.

I love how all these torn pieces are just pieces of the whole!
