Day 8 - Build A Tree_web

I love your tree! Wasn't this a fun challenge? I can't wait to see all of the different interpretations of this one. Great page!

@Cherylndesigns - yes it was fun. Without premade (i.e. from a kit) items, one tends to be more abstract and interesting designs emerge. I read the challenge to mean no premade leaves (which I see many others used) and decided to challenge myself to "think outside the box" and create in that spirit.

@flowersgal I did the same thing, Patsy. Some of my "leaves" looked like leaves, but they really weren't. I manipulated them to "look like leaves".

sorry i wasn't clear enough initially, it wasn't my intention to make you go without all leaves and goodies in kits, i promise! i used a bunch of different leaves on my own page but what's funny is that if i had to draw a tree in real life - this is how mine still look, not quite so artistic with the pencils blended but this is very recognizable as a tree! branchs, leaves and all!

@bellbird - well in mine the triangles are meant to represent leaves. Actually I ended up liking it -- not very realistic but more abstract! Ha, ha ... at least that's what I'm telling myself.

I love what you did with those pencils! LOL!
