Description
JOURNALING: “The Limeliters” are a folk group founded in the summer of 1959. Of the original members, Alex Hassilev, Lou Gottlieb, and Glenn Yarbrough, only Alex is still alive although retired. They were noted for their rousing songs such as “There’s a Meetin’ Here Tonight” and “Have Some Madeira M’Dear”. I was fortunate to see them in concert a couple of times.

Love the band name that's awesome! Like how you added the limes and the limme paper to document your story.

They were very popular during that "folk song" era. Glenn particularly had a lovely voice. Love all of your "lime" elements. And the Madeira stamp is PERFECT! "Have some madeira, my dear."
